Service And Leadership For MD19 Lions…

The MD19 Lions Foundation, formerly known as the “MD19 Lions Service And Leadership Development Foundation”, is a Washington non–profit corporation qualified as a charitable organization under §501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. The foundation provides support for leadership training and community service to Lions Clubs and communities located in British Columbia, Canada, and the states of Idaho and Washington in the United States.

  • Date graphic District 19–L 2025 Spring Convention — The District 19–L 2025 Spring Convention will be held on Vancouver Island, in Sidney, British Columbia, Canada, on March 28 to 30, 2025.
  • Date graphic District 19–N 2025 Spring Convention — The District 19–N 2025 Spring Convention will be held at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, Washington U.S.A. on April 18 to 19, 2025.
  • Date graphic District 19–S 2025 Spring Convention — The District 19–S 2025 Spring Convention, “Dare To Be Different”, will be held at the Selah Civic Center, 216 S. 1st Street, Selah, Washington U.S.A. on April 25 to 27, 2025. Lodging for convention attendees is available at the Quality Inn, Selah North Park.
  • Date graphic NWLLI 2025 — The next edition of the Northwest Lions Leadership Conference will be held May 1 to 4, 2025 at the Ross Point Camp & Conference Center in Post Falls, Idaho. Applications are available now online. The application deadline is April 1, 2025. Mission

To provide educational and leadership training programs for the development of tomorrow's leaders in schools, communities, business, and service organizations.

Purposes

The MD19 Lions Foundation purposes are to:

  • Solicit, collect, and otherwise raise money for scientific, educational, and charitable purposes;
  • Expend, contribute, disburse, and otherwise handle and dispose of money raised for its purposes either directly or by contributions;
  • Provide the instruction of transferable leadership skills at all levels of Lions International and to members of other organizations, businesses, and the public;
  • Present educational seminars, forums, panels, lectures, and discussion groups about the programs offered by this Foundation, Lions International and Multiple District 19;
  • Develop and implement a public relations outreach that promotes positive community involvement and leadership skill development by service—minded individuals, and;
  • Encourage those with leadership abilities to achieve continued personal growth by accepting challenges and opportunities in community service locally, regionally, nationally, or internationally.
